Sun Dog Cafe is located in the gracious center courtyard of Mongoose Junction. Our Summer Hours are from 11 am to 4:30 pm daily. We will be closing for two weeks in September for kitchen renovations.
We're foodies, but we're anything but pretentious. Our menu is consistently good throughout, and our specials are even better. Chefs Alan, Paul and José are dedicated and skilled, having apprenticed at some very impressive places. Their skill shows throughout. Our service staff is attentive and efficient.
The New York Times said “A very impressive menu---for a kitchen the size of a Volkswagon beetle”. Hey- small is beautiful and it sure does keep the food fresh!
The Gecko Bar is Open Daily from 11 am until around 8 pm, but it kind of has a life of its own.
What’s it all about? A nice mix of locals and off island guests-- perhaps its the things that aren't there that are part of the appeal. No video games, gambling, ATM's, TV's. Hell, we don't even have walls! It's a great group of bartenders who know how to take care of people, serving great frozen drinks, smoothies and your favorite cocktail. Grab a bite to eat and enjoy the company and the view, overlooking some of Mongoose Junctions finest sights and spend some quality time with friends, old and new!
